Job Description:
The Clinical Coordinator will play a vital role in our PICU department, overseeing daily operations and staff performance to ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and coordinate unit activities to guarantee quality patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with administrative directors to develop and implement projects enhancing unit quality
Requirements:
- Texas or Compact State Nursing License (RN) required
- BCLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS
- C-NPT within two years of hire
- TNCC & ENPC within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in NICU/PICU/Peds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate with excellent documentation and order entry skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to lead a team and function as a team member
