Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to assist in a clinical study. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in emergency medical care and a strong ability to respond quickly to patient needs. The EMT will be responsible for assessing patients’ conditions, providing basic medical care, and supporting the medical team as necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in psychology or detox settings.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions
- Provide first aid and basic life support as needed
- Assist with patient transport and ensure their safety
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with the study team and other medical professionals
- Ensure patient comfort and manage any medical emergencies that arise
Qualifications:
- Valid EMT certification and state licensure
- Previous experience in a clinical or emergency setting
- Experience in psych or detox care preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies
