SUMMARY OF JOB :
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for helping the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis implement the processes required by the Formula One Group throughout the annual FP&A cycle. Integration with Formula One on FP&A reporting and leveraging corporate systems and processes is critical to establish the foundation for LVGP FP&A function to be successful.
This position will be responsible for overseeing forecasting, budget management, and revenue analysis through financial modeling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (INCLUDE WITHOUT LIMITATION) :
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, budget and forecast processes, ensuring alignment with Formula One Group timelines and policies.
- Work closely with department heads to gather financial data and understand and validate financial assumptions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Assist in building key financial reporting and modeling, including historical financial data and updates from financial forecasts, for Finance and Executive Leadership Team.
- Provide regular variance analysis and insightful commentary on financial performance to senior management, highlighting key drivers.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reporting packages that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, and comprehensive executive level explanation of differences.
- Continually review and propose improvements to current processes with an objective to create efficiency by automation.
- Collaborate with accounting team during close process to ensure proper accruals are made.
- Communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner both verbally and in writing.
- Articulate complex finance issues to non-Finance partners.
- Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment.
- Other related special projects and ad hoc assignments to support departmental and organizational goals related to financial planning and analysis.
