Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers upon entering the store.
- Take orders and provide helpful suggestions based on customer preferences.
- Ensure customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
- Address customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to our standards.
- Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
- Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes.
- Maintain quality and presentation of food items.
- Cash Handling:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments).
- Accurately handle cash and provide correct change.
- Assist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting.
- Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with training new team members as needed.
- Support team efforts during busy periods and ensure the store runs efficiently.
- Stocking and Inventory:
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessary.
