The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and success of Miss J’s Cafe. This includes managing day-to-day activities, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining a positive and efficient work environment, overseeing financial management, and leading a team of cafe staff. The General Manager will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, train, and supervise all cafe staff, including baristas, cooks, servers, and other team members.
- Schedule shifts, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours and maintaining an efficient staffing model.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, ensuring team members are engaged and providing excellent service.
- Handle employee disputes and disciplinary issues in a fair and professional manner.
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive experience at the cafe.
- Address customer complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner, aiming to resolve issues quickly.
- Oversee the quality of food and beverages, ensuring they meet the cafe’s standards and customer expectations.
