We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in food preparation, ensuring that our dishes are prepared with the highest quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and marinating to ensure all food is prepped in accordance with recipes and safety standards.
- Assist the cooking staff in meal preparation, ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen prep areas and tools.
- Monitor and maintain proper food safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
- Properly label and store food items for freshness and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies when necessary.
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
