Patient Service Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Service Associate to join our team. As a Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their needs are met. Duties:

Schedules patients for services

Obtaining medical histories, insurance information

Document all patient information in the medical chart

Maintain patient files, records and other information.

Filing and preparing correspondence for patients or member of the healthcare team

Task Management (EHR, email, verbal)

Maintaining strict confidentiality in agreement with HIPAA

Prepare patient’s chart in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for office visit:

Obtain medical records, radiology reports, labs, all perinate medical records.

Referring patients to outside providers as requested by physician

Answering multi-line phone system and resolving patient concerns

Multi-tasking and exhibiting clear communication with patients and staff

Maintaining efficiency in fast-paced surgery clinic

Follow universal precautions, OSHA, standards and HIPPA Regulations

Attend required meetings and participate committees, medical protocols as requested

Performs other assigned duties as directed.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 Years experience in Medical clinic & customer service

- Bilingual a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Basic computer skills: Word, Excel

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
