Salary : $16.00 - $20.00 hourly (based on education level)
Hours of Work : Up to 25 hours weekly between Monday and Thursday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 6 : 00 p.m.
FILING DEADLINE : Although this position will remain open until filled, review of candidates' materials will begin on September 29, 2024, and best consideration will be given for materials submitted prior to that date.
INTRODUCTION : Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will be forwarded to the hiring department for further review. The ideal candidate for this position is a current sophomore or higher enrolled in an undergraduate degree program related to Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
GENERAL PURPOSE : The position will assist in performing hydraulic analysis, planning / reviewing new and existing water infrastructure, updating and calibrating hydraulic models, reviewing new development, and collecting field pressure and flow data. Prior knowledge of hydraulic analysis and model construction is not required. The selected candidate will be trained in performing hydraulic analysis and model construction.
