Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Pricing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the pricing process, ensuring that all pricing is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company strategy. The Pricing Administrator will collaborate with various departments such as sales, finance, and operations to maintain pricing structures and provide timely information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Price Management:
• Maintain and update pricing data ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Implement pricing changes and updates in line with company guidelines, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Support the development of pricing strategies and models in collaboration with the sales and finance teams.
• Pricing Analysis & Reporting:
• Assist in the analysis of price trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing to recommend adjustments.
• Prepare regular reports on pricing performance, trends, and discrepancies for product teams/management.
• Analyze and maintain historical pricing data, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing is aligned with customer agreements.
• Provide timely and accurate pricing information to internal teams to support quoting and proposal processes.
• System Administration:
• Ensure pricing systems are maintained and updated to reflect accurate data.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to pricing data within the system.
• Support the integration of new ERP system and analysis tools.
• Customer Support:
• Respond to inquiries from sales and customer service teams regarding pricing and special customer requests.
• Provide guidance and support to the team on pricing policies, procedures, and systems.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and recommend improvements to pricing processes and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the development and maintenance of pricing guidelines, policies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in pricing administration, pricing analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with pricing software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and market analysis is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
