Warehouse Lead

We currently have a full-time opening for a Warehouse Lead in Watsontown, PA. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating activities of workers engaged in the receiving of materials, the stocking and dispensing of materials, inventory control, picking and shipping of finished goods, and expediting and loading customer orders.

We are looking for candidates with the following background:

· Experience in coaching and developing team members, handling employee relations, and performance assessment and improvement.

· Experience in warehousing and distribution with specialization in order picking, shipping, and loading freight highly desired.

· Ability to drive a box truck to make deliveries to customers when needed (2-3 days per week)(DOT Medical Card is required)

· Computer skills with Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience processing packages through UPS Worldship and processing LTL shipments through carrier websites strongly preferred.

· Experience with 5S, Lean methodology and developing high quality standards within core processes

· Responsible for good safety practices and compliance with the rules and regulations regarding a safe and healthy work environment, including investigating accidents to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports relative to their actions

· Understanding of good space utilization practices

· Strong communication skills and the ability build cross functional relationships

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
