What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance Worker position at LaSalle Correctional Center?
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in correctional setting is highly desirable.
On-the-job training offered.
Valid driver’s license
Heating/Air Conditioning experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Frequent grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
