Job Description
The Security Screening Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and order of the facility. This includes screening all visitors, detecting prohibited items, and removing contraband from the premises.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a high-pressure environment, and have a strong attention to detail.
The physical requirements of this job include continuous sitting, frequent walking and standing, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, and frequent grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen all visitors through metal detectors
- Detect and remove prohibited items from the premises
- Ensure the security and order of the facility
- Greet and register all visitors with professional courtesy
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
