What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable/ Credit Analyst position at LaSalle Network?
Ready for something new? Our financial services client is looking for an Accounts Receivable/ Credit Analyst to join their growing team! This position is open due to growth on the team, and we are looking for someone to come in and be the "analytical brain" in the department! In this role, you will work closely with the AR Manager as well as the FP&A team. The ideal individual is looking for a more analytical role and has the basic AR knowledge to be able to hit the ground running. This role has the opportunity to grow within the finance department in the long run.
Accounts Receivable/ Credit Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess creditworthiness
- Evaluate and process credit applications for new and existing clients
- Manage accounts receivable portfolio and monitor payment trends
- Develop and maintain client relationships for timely collections
- Create detailed reports on AR aging, collections metrics and credit risks
- Collaborate with sales team to support business growth while minimizing credit risk
- Implement and maintain credit policies and procedures
Accounts Receivable/ Credit Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3 years of accounts payable experience, healthcare industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment
- Experience with financial services industry preferred
- Hybrid arrangement: 2 days in office, 3 days remote
- Standard business hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 per year
- Location: Hybrid (Downtown Chicago)
