In this role, you'll support the entire employee lifecycle-from recruiting and onboarding to compliance and employee engagement initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all areas of TA in addition to HR while working with a supportive and high-performing team.
Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records (electronic and hard copy)
- Support recruiting efforts: review resumes, screen candidates, and schedule interviews
- Assist in onboarding, offboarding, and coordinating new hire orientation
- Manage employee data in the ATS and HRIS systems
- Help administer background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork
- Partner with the HR Director to support employee engagement and recognition programs
- Track and organize compliance efforts, I-9s, audits, and ISO initiatives
- Coordinate HR projects, safety programs, meetings, and training sessions
Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist Requirements:
- 2 years of HR experience or a combination of experience and education
- Familiarity with HR systems like Paylocity, Paycom, or similar (JazzHR is a plus!)
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
- A fast learner who thrives in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
