LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading outplacement firm specializing in assisting clients undergoing workforce transitions. They provide tailored solutions to support exiting employees, facilitating their successful re-entry into the job market.
In collaboration with our client, we are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Career Coach to join their Dallas team. In this role, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals through the challenges of career transition, providing one-on-one coaching, interview preparation, resume building, and other essential support services.
Career Coach Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-on-one coaching sessions with candidates to assess their career goals, strengths, and areas for improvement
- Providing personalized guidance and support to candidates as they navigate the job search process, including resume and cover letter development
- Preparing candidates for interviews by conducting mock interviews, offering feedback, and providing strategies for success
- Collaborating with candidates to develop individualized job search strategies tailored to their skills and aspirations
- Monitoring and tracking candidate progress throughout the job search process, offering ongoing support and encouragement
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and job market dynamics to provide relevant and timely advice to candidates
Career Coach Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 8 years of corporate or professional experience required
- The flexibility and willingness to travel around the Dallas- Fort Worth area from Monday- Friday
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs and schedules of individual candidates
- Comfortable utilizing technology for remote coaching sessions and virtual interviews
