We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Demand Planner / Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to managing and optimizing inventory levels across multiple facilities, including Rolling Meadows, China, and Amazon Distribution Centers. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in inventory management or demand planning and will be eager to contribute to a dynamic, non-traditional business model focused on Amazon operations.
Demand Planner / Inventory Specialist Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across Rolling Meadows, China, and Amazon Distribution Facilities
- Determine appropriate inventory allocations and manage newly manufactured stock levels
- Oversee workflow transfers and collaborate in demand planning processes
- Adapt to and manage the unique and non-traditional business approach for Amazon operations
Demand Planner / Inventory Specialist Requirements:
- 2 years of experience, preferably with a background in retail. We are looking for candidates who are open to evolving outside traditional business methods
- Strong analytical skills, particularly with numbers and Excel
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Prior experience or familiarity with Amazon's distribution processes is a plus
- Flexible and adaptable to a non-traditional Amazon-focused business model
- Able to thrive in an evolving environment that requires quick thinking and agility
