What are the responsibilities and job description for the File Handlers position at LaSalle Network?
LaSalle Network has partnered with a client who is seeking File Handlers to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating the vehicle title transfer process required for salvage on behalf of our vehicle providers. This is a direct hire position with training and development opportunities to set you up for success.
File Handlers Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned files, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of title documentation and related information
- Review and assess all documentation to determine the appropriate course of action for title processing
- Initiate timely communication regarding inventory status, utilizing system tools (phone, email, fax, USPS, FedEx) to contact lienholders, owners, insurance providers, state agencies, title clerks, attorneys, and other stakeholders
- Maintain an organized workspace to support departmental efficiency and success
- Handle inbound calls promptly, professionally, and accurately
- Ensure clear, consistent, and timely email communication with internal and external customers to resolve concerns and meet deadlines
File Handlers Requirements:
- Ability to process documents meticulously, stay organized and handle escalated calls
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with phone systems is a plus (training on ASAP processing system provided)
- Auto industry or title processing experience is a must
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree is a plus
