What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Manager position at LaSalle Network?
We are seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the tracking, compliance, and administration of company vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly, safely, and within all regulatory guidelines.
Fleet Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the Motus Program and maintain accurate fleet records
- Ensure all company vehicles have valid licenses, registrations, and insurance
- Track and document new vehicle purchases and sales in coordination with legal
- Generate reports as needed for management and compliance tracking
- Collaborate with site managers to monitor fleet usage
- Work with an insurance broker to provide necessary documents to customers and suppliers
- Assist drivers in case of an accident and liaise with the insurance company for claims processing
- Review and manage insurance policies, including annual renewals
- Process invoices related to fleet expenses
- Take on additional administrative tasks as requested
Fleet Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- 5 years of fleet management experience
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable working in office setting, with occasional exposure to manufacturing environments involving noise, chemicals, heavy equipment, and machinery
