Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced FP&A Director to join their growing organization. This critical role will lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts to support strategic decision-making across the company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the AdTech industry, experience managing labor costs for complex organizations, and a proven track record of driving financial insights that align with company goals.
**Remote position, with preference to someone within 200 miles of Charlotte, NC
FP&A Director Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Develop financial models to assess performance, profitability, and growth opportunities
- Analyze and manage labor costs, including headcount forecasting, employee cost analysis, and workforce efficiency metrics, ensuring alignment with operational goals
- Utilize AdTech-specific expertise to provide strategic guidance on pricing models, ad inventory management, and revenue optimization initiatives
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business. Partner with department heads to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and HR teams to align financial objectives with organizational priorities. Provide financial insights for new initiatives, product launches, and M&A opportunities
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to the executive leadership team, investors, and other stakeholders
- Implement and optimize tools, processes, and systems to enhance financial accuracy, reporting, and scalability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
FP&A Director Requirements:
- 5 years of FP&A experience, with at least 2 years in the AdTech, digital advertising, or technology sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred
- Proven expertise in labor cost analysis and workforce planning
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Workday, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Understanding of AdTech business models, including programmatic advertising, media buying, and revenue models, is strongly preferred
