HR Representative (Generalist) Responsibilities:
- Act as a key HR partner for plant employees and leadership, ensuring a positive and engaged workforce
- Support employee relations by leading day-to-day investigations and partnering with managers on corrective actions
- Coordinate recruiting and sourcing efforts for the manufacturing workforce
- Lead new hire onboarding, including orientation, testing, and training coordination
- Process biweekly payroll, including time off requests, FMLA, and LOA administration
- Manage day-to-day tactical and administrative HR duties while supporting long-term HR transformation initiatives
- Assist with employee engagement efforts, bringing creative ideas to enhance workplace culture
HR Representative (Generalist) Requirements:
- HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred
- Experience with Kronos, ADP, and Microsoft Office (or confidence in learning new HR systems)
- Willingness to adapt to HR transformation initiatives, as we transition to UKG
- Hands-on, people-first approach-comfortable interacting with employees at all levels
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities in a fast-moving environment
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty! This is a true manufacturing setting- with steel-toe boots required
