What are the responsibilities and job description for the LaSalle Network | Transportation Analyst position at LaSalle Network?
LaSalle Network is in search of a Transportation Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of the Transportation Department. This role is critical in monitoring and executing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing key business insights, proactively managing exceptions, mitigating risks, and driving financial performance.
The Transportation Analyst partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best-in-class On-Time Performance for stock transfers and customer orders, balancing cost and service. The role optimizes information flow and structural processes between Sales, Distribution Facilities, Quality, Customer Service teams, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and customers.
Transportation Analyst Responsibilities :
- Monitor and support the daily execution of transportation objectives and KPIs to ensure consistent performance
- Participate in daily Distribution Center execution calls, providing transportation-related support and follow-ups
- Collaborate with Plant Warehousing teams on daily execution and transportation-related tasks
- Work closely with the 3PL shuttle provider to ensure seamless daily execution and manage exceptions effectively
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance across all functions
- Act as a subject matter expert for Stock Transfer and Customer Outbound shipments
- Identify areas of improvement in processes with internal / external stakeholders, develop solution strategies, present findings, and implement action plans
- Develop and oversee modern supply chain strategies that align with the company's strategic objectives and customer expectations
- Ensure best-in-class logistics and transportation services are executed efficiently
- Execute special projects and ad hoc requests as required
