Medical Biller

LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Milwaukee, WI, seeking an experienced Medical Biller with Epic EMR expertise. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in medical billing, claims processing, and insurance follow-up. Medical Biller Responsibilities:

• Process and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring timely and accurate billing
• Review and correct denied or rejected claims, following up with payers to resolve issues
• Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility using Epic EMR
• Post payments and adjustments, reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy
• Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and internal teams regarding outstanding balances and billing inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and payer-specific billing guidelines
• Generate and analyze reports related to claims, payments, and outstanding accounts
  
  

Medical Biller Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims processing, or accounts receivable
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Strong knowledge of medical billing codes, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing policies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and external payers
