Our client is seeking a Regional Quality Director to oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role will drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide leadership in quality management systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading quality initiatives, managing teams, and maintaining certifications such as ISO14001 and ISO9001. Regional Quality Director Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain a zero-incident mindset, fostering a safe workplace
- Manage all Quality Assurance and Control processes, including root cause analysis, material dispositions, and customer complaints
- Implement Quality Strategies and ensure compliance with ISO14001 and ISO9001 certifications
- Drive continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, 4DX) to improve cost, quality, and service
- Ensure contamination prevention and lead root cause investigations for manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with CSF, EPA FIFRA, and RCRA requirements in collaboration with regulatory and procurement teams
- Manage inventory control, including quality holds, rework, and expiration
- Lead and develop quality leaders at each site
Regional Quality Director Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
- 10 years in Quality Control/Assurance leadership
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement
- 5 years of people management experience
- Experience in chemical or agricultural manufacturing a plus
