The SAP APO Solution Lead is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP solutions, particularly in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, and Distribution. The role involves hands-on support, project management, and working closely with business partners to align IT solutions with business needs. The lead will manage IT applications, oversee business process improvements, ensure systems are operating efficiently, and provide expert guidance across SAP modules like DP, SNP, and GATP. This role requires innovation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage resources and projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
***This position requires the ability to work onsite on a hybrid basis.***
SAP APO Solution Lead Responsibilities:
- Support and manage day-to-day SAP applications (e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Distribution, gATP)
- Collaborate with business partners to analyze processes, recommend improvements, and implement solutions
- Lead project management efforts, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for end users
- Document processes, manage system testing, and ensure change management compliance
- Maintain SAP systems, including performing upgrades and patches, and work with vendors on issue resolution
SAP APO Solution Lead Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10 years of IT experience, particularly with SAP ERP, with expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and SAP APO
- Experience in system design, deployment, and providing customer support
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
- Experience with SAP modules (DP, SNP, GATP) and related tools (BW, MRP, Process Manufacturing)
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
