Inventory Specialist Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory system to meet operational demands
- Locate and order out-of-stock items
- Issue purchase orders to external suppliers and track backordered items
- Provide cost estimates to customers and create / send invoices promptly
- Pack and ship parts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Handle up to 50 lbs. during packaging and shipment preparation
- Leverage software tools such as SAP / ABAS (or other ERP systems) and Salesforce to manage inventory and customer data effectively
- Work closely with equipment technicians to align inventory needs and processes
- Identify and implement ways to streamline parts management and enhance efficiency
