Transportation Associate

LaSalle Network is in search of a Transportation Associate for a growing logistics operation within Food & Beverage in Springdale, AR. This is a great opportunity for individuals with dispatch experience who are eager to develop leadership skills and grow within transportation operations.

The Transportation Associate is an entry-level management role designed to provide hands-on exposure to all aspects of fleet operations. Working under the guidance of experienced supervisors, the associate will support day-to-day dispatch functions, monitor fleet activity, and ensure timely and safe delivery of loads. The position offers cross-functional training across departments such as load planning, shuttle operations, and regional dispatch, and includes responsibility for night and weekend dispatch coverage.

Schedule

• 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (3-4 days/week)
• Standard schedule: Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday

Transportation Associate Responsibilities:

• Support daily fleet dispatch operations and cover unassigned loads
• Monitor load progress and ensure on-time delivery
• Manage driver communication and address issues during off-hours
• Promote and ensure driver safety and compliance
• Cross-train in multiple areas including load planning, shuttle operations, and regional dispatch
• Provide weekend and night shift dispatch coverage as needed
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and service levels

Transportation Associate Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of long-haul dispatch experience required; customer service experience alone will not qualify
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Basic proficiency in email, Microsoft Excel, and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn and a demonstrated ability to lead and support others
• Must be available to work a rotating and overnight schedule
• Travel: No travel required
