LaSante Health Center is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and compassionate professional with expertise in dermatological care. The Dermatology NP will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat various skin conditions, and educate patients on skincare and preventive measures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive skin examinations and assess patient concerns.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
- Perform minor dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs.
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
- Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with certification in dermatology or relevant experience in dermatologic care.
- Medicaid certified
- Strong clinical skills with a solid understanding of dermatological conditions and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
