Hours: 7.5 hours/day; 37.5 hours/week; core hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role acts as a main point of contact for supporters that have partnered with the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, the Los Angeles World Cup Host Committee and the Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee.
The incumbent will be responsible for client contract fulfillment, continued interaction and building of client relationships, compiling and updating sales packages and recaps, researching prospects and performing other tasks as required on behalf of the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission. This person will also be responsible for supporting the Vice President, Events & Business Development in reviewing and responding to RFP’s, circulating relevant events to local venue partners and reporting quarterly on new business prospects.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Events & Business Development to effectively support and implement host committee partnership agreements
- Drive all contractual deliverables and activation for clients/brands, coordinating with leadership and internal departments to properly plan and deliver as needed to customize and enhance marketing opportunities for clients/brands
- Help ensure all commercial partnership efforts serve to achieve and optimize immediate and long-term business goals, and support all improvements for processes and tracking to KPIs
- Design and deliver project management plans, under the direction of Leadership
- Assist in planning and executing special events and partner promotions, including coordination with partner teams and venues including the LA Galaxy, LAFC, Angel City FC, LA Rams, and LA Chargers
- Conduct thorough prospect research, providing the team with detailed overviews of prospects' priorities, past spending, and existing partnerships
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop an annual recap report highlighting successes and partner engagement
- Manage operational tasks related to contract processing and day-to-day office operations alongside the Finance Department
- Maintain CRM software to ensure data accuracy for reporting and metrics purposes.
- Undertake any other job-related duties as assigned

- Clear communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Attention to detail
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of a degree through related course work, job experience or volunteer experience
- 5 years of direct experience in sports business or related marketing environment
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Hybrid schedule working remotely from home and in person at the LASEC offices as stipulated by leadership
- Driving a personal vehicle or utilizing public transportation/rideshare is necessary to reach event sites in and around Los Angeles
- Occasional in and out of state travel may be required
- Majority of time is spent sitting at a desk or attending meetings
- Minimal reaching, bending and lifting/carrying of supplies
- Occasional overtime and evening/weekend work in support of events
