Description
Lasell University is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Adjunct Faculty in Cybersecurity to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, practical experience in the field, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams, in cybersecurity topics such as network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, and risk management.
· Provide students with practical, hands-on experience through labs and projects.
· Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity to ensure course content is up-to-date.
· Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
· Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
· Collaborate with department faculty on curriculum development and improvement.
· Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the academic community.
Qualifications
· Master's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably with certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
· Previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
