We are looking for professionals who are passionate, ambitious, and self-starters who want to help grow our organization to join us as an Area Sales and Leasing Specialist.
As an Area Sales and Leasing Specialist, you will utilize your entrepreneurial skills and spirit to develop creative sales, leasing, and marketing plans that consistently drive results from a variety of sources to meet or exceed company business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales and Leasing:
- Successfully market, sell, and lease homes within assigned community/communities to achieve company business goals.
- Proactively self-generate and manage leads to build and maintain a healthy prospect pipeline and ensure community is maintaining pipeline conversion metrics.
- Maximize prospecting, networking, call campaigns, open houses and community events that drive sales and leasing results.
- Role model company selling philosophy when showing homes to prospects that best fit their needs while highlighting the features and benefits of the home(s) and the community.
- Consistently act as a brand ambassador for community, maintaining the image of the company while selling and leasing homes.
- Move prospects effectively through the pipeline, resulting in the sale and leasing of homes. Organize closings, including the completion and submission of all closing documents.
- Provide timely and consistent follow-through with current prospects and customers from initial contact to after closing with all communication logged into the CRM system.
- Generate and manage agreements which may include calculation of sales tax and monthly payment plans as well as running credit checks.
- Create an exceptional experience for all current and prospective customers while ensuring all sales and leasing practices are completed in compliance with company policies, state regulations and fair housing standards.
- Maintain masterful knowledge of our product, communities, competition, and overall market including product, site, local community, sales, leases, promotions, advertising, and demographics.
Resident Relations and Referrals:
- Cultivate resident satisfaction within your community/communities.
- Execute successful follow up of recent resident move ins to ensure satisfaction and self-generate referral leads that produce sales and leasing results.
- Actively engage, prospect, and work with current renters in your community/communities to convert them into homeowners.
Other
- Complete required tasks accurately, expertly, and in a timely manner, while handling multiple priorities.
- Attend regular weekly meetings to review sales, leasing, and marketing strategies.
- Fully collaborate with all key stakeholders to develop the community sales, leasing, and marketing plans.

- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook.
- Understanding and knowledge of a CRM system.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in commissioned sales strongly preferred (general brokerage real estate, new home sales, B2B/B2C selling, or leasing).
- Willingness and ability to extensively travel to multiple communities up to 100% as required.

- Physical Demands: Some office work which may require the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, sit for long hours while using office equipment, and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less from time to time.
