Description
Position Summary
To work the production schedule, and ensure the packaging cases meets quality requirements in an accurate fashion. Notify the shift supervisor or authorized personnel of any equipment malfunctions, breakdown or part replacement, in order to have all the machinery operating according to line machinery specifications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow safety regulations and procedures required by SGFM/Quality/SQF/GMP’s/OSHA regulations/Preventative Controls.
- To document traceability case counts and lot codes onto appropriate paperwork
- To set up the hand stacking area for the days production run
- To clean the hand stacking area when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Frequent lifting of weights of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull material in excess of 500 pounds
- Basic mathematic and reading, able to read and write English fluently
- Able to work in both hot/humid (in excess of 110 degrees F) and cold (below -20 degrees F) environments
