Description
Position Summary
Load and unload trucks; put away and rotate stock; Handle transfers; stock production prep areas; cycle counts for inventory control; maintain warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities
RECEIVING OF GOODS:
- Receive raw material
- Unload finished product from the manufacturing plant and rotate the product according to the proper procedures
SHIPPING AND LOADING OF GOODS:
- Pull customer orders with 100% accuracy and on time delivery
- Loan out-going orders
- Assure all loads are secure prior to their leaving warehouse
TRANSFER OF GOODS:
- Transfer raw material as necessary between warehouses
- Stock palletizer and remove finished goods for transfer
INVENTORY DUTIES:
- Cycle counts
- Maintain proper paperwork
STOCKING OF GOODS:
- Stock label room with boxes
- Stock production prep areas with raw materials as needed --- (get frozen products from trailers and freezer; produce rom cooler and other raw material from south warehouse)
PRODUCTION DUTIES:
- Stock the production prep areas with raw materials as needed. (Frozen items from trailers and freezer, produce from cooler and other raw material from south warehouse.)
- Assist in Production as needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb various types of ladders
- Good hand dexterity with both hands
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Able to work long hours when necessary; work overtime when it is needed
- Able to withstand extreme warehouse and outside temperatures of cold and hot
