Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team with a opportunity for assistant evening/night manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and providing outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for guests at the bar or during events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; report any shortages to management.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotional events to effectively communicate with customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or catering environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of Aloha POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations; certification in food handling is preferred.
