What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Manager position at Last Resort Recovery?
SUMMARY
You will report to the Director of Recovery Services of the facility and will interact with senior and clinical management of the facility. Your chief responsibilities will be to assist the staff in the management and execution of the daily schedule and coordination/facilitation of programming. You will facilitate 12-Step lectures, discussions, process-oriented groups and will carry an individual caseload. You will also be maintaining compliant documentation of service delivery, communicating and working with families when needed, and working closely with the Clinical staff. Be familiar with all Last Resort Recovery staff members, programs and properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned.
* Uphold all Last Resort Recovery Policy and Procedures
* Carry an individual caseload guiding your assigned clients through the recovery and 12 step process
* Supervise and facilitate daily execution of the schedule and programming
* Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of any services delivered to patients
* Coordinate with clinical and recovery staff in the delivery and execution of client services
* Develop, plan, and implement recovery-oriented programming and services
* Work in coordination with the Director of Recovery Services to facilitate daily programming
* Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse patients
* Maintain the safety of the patients and the security of the facility
* Instruct recovery-based lectures
* Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with company policy
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. If in recovery must have a minimum of one year sobriety/recovery and be actively working a program of recovery. Preferred to have a clean driving record and have a driver’s license.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have completed at least the equivalent of an eighth grade education. Preferred to have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some experience work experience required, work experience in helping profession preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Able to navigate a computer and use basic software.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
