What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Manager position at Lasting Impressions Event Rental?
Are you an enthusiastic individual seeking a dynamic role where you can make a difference? Are you a self starter interested in enhancing an existing online catalog? We are looking for a junior manager to take on this project, make changes to the current product line and even develop new concepts.
A successful candidate would be responsible for developing consistent growth with an existing inline sales platform. This will require becoming knowledgeable about our product line as well as the tent industry. You will learn to solve problems for our customers based on our products. You will be assisting with finding new products for the catalog as well as developing new concepts with the same industry and platform. You will work directly with the CEO of the primary company, Lasting Impressions Event Rentals both developing the catalog and assisting him with weekly tasks and special projects. While this position is an entry level management position, there is tremendous upside. While a college degree is a plus, it is not required.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Answer phones and respond to online inquiries for the purchase of tent accessories
Prepare and enter customer orders, verify orders for accuracy and complete revisions as requested
Close sales by converting quotes into contracts
Relay contracts to the distribution warehouse
Explain freight and handling costs and add them to the contracts
Assist in purchasing replacement products and items sold
Follow up with customers post-sale to build future opportunities
Assist with resolving customer complaints
Educate and inform customers about new and current products
Assist with social media and direct marketing programs
Attend 2-4 annual trade shows and assist staffing the booth
Assist CEO with various tasks, including H/R, minor bookkeeping, updating of reports, among other tasks
Assist the CEO with finding and developing new products and services
REQUIREMENTS:
Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal and communication skills
Proficient with computers(Gmail and Google Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
Current hours are Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM. This is a full time, in-office, salaried position of $50,000 to $55,000. Paid time off, health, dental and vision benefits as well as a 401K plan are offered.
