Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Monitor clients’ health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments when necessary.
- Ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with home health care practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is beneficial; certification may be required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate attitude towards seniors and individuals with disabilities is essential.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
