Job Description: Regional Sales Manager - Americas
Location: Americas (with flexibility for remote work)
Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager - Americas will be responsible for driving sales and business development across the Americas region, focusing on expanding Latécoère’s presence in key aerospace sectors, including commercial aviation, defense, and space. This individual will work closely with both existing customers and new prospects, developing tailored solutions that meet regional needs while aligning with the company’s global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage sales initiatives across the Americas, developing and executing strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities, targeting strategic accounts and expanding Latécoère’s footprint in the region.
- Regional Strategy: Collaborate with corporate leadership to align regional strategies with global objectives, ensuring a unified approach to market penetration.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and deliver regular updates on business development and pipeline progress.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor regional trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and leverage insights to refine sales strategies and enhance Latécoère’s competitive position.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and engineering, to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions and optimize the sales process.
- Budget & Cost Management: Manage sales budgets, travel expenses, and other related costs while ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aerospace sales or business development, with a proven track record of success in the Americas region.
- Strong knowledge of the aerospace industry, including commercial aviation, defense, and space sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Americas region.
