Corporate M&A Counsel or Partner

Lateral Link is assisting a sophisticated boutique comprised of former “Big Law” attorneys seeking a Corporate M&A Counsel or Partner to support their cutting-edge practice.

The ideal candidate will possess 10-15 years of relevant experience in corporate law and run matters on their own. The candidate should possess significant M&A experience, understand financings and general corporate law. PE experience would be helpful.

This is an ideal role for someone who is entrepreneurial, takes initiative and wants a different type of platform.

The candidate may be someone with a small book portable book of business or no book, so long as the attorney is capable and seeks to build a practice, has ambition, talent and raw skills.

The opportunity is excellent for someone who may want to expand the practice, but for a variety of reasons they are either hindered at their current big law firm or perhaps the rates are too high and there is no ability to grow their practice.

There is an 1800 billable hour requirement.
