Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A valid driver’s license
- The ability to handle children in crisis safely, with compassion.
Hiring multiple candidates for this position. We offer Part-time and Full-time positions with schedules ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
Latham offers housing based on availability!
Compensation: $18.82 per hour
***Weekend differential $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 7am Saturday through 6:59am Monday! ***
Key Responsibilities:
- Case manage one or two students in the residence.
- Plan activities that provide the structure of daily schedule, both on and off campus.
- Assist and support students with their residential responsibilities.
- Implement all support/behavior plans for students.
- Write IEP or ISP reports annually and quarterly.
- Attend mandatory trainings and keep certifications current.
- Write progress notes.
- Provide therapeutic crisis intervention when needed.
- Provide informal counseling with students and assigned group.
- Effectively communicate with other staff regarding student status and progress.
- All other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Any work assigned shall be related to the Employee’s normal duties, except for occasional emergencies.
Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.
