EHS Coordinator
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the implementation of the Latham Pool’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at the facility level. This position requires daily interaction and partnership with operations and work with Site Leadership in office environments and on the shop floor. This position requires background knowledge of state and federal OSHA regulations, environmental regulations, and EHS best management practices. The person in this position must have good communication, instructional, and leadership skills.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Implement the Latham Pools’ EHS Program and respective policies.
- Train and or educate personnel on Latham’s EHS Training program and proper safety and health methods.
- Maintain all pertinent safety and environmental records
- Support Site Leadership team in thorough Incident Investigation
- Generates internal and external reports as necessary from various computer-based sources
- Perform daily, monthly, and annual EHS inspections
- Accompany state, federal, and local inspectors from various agencies
- Support site Safety Committee
- Partner with site leadership in executing risk reduction projects to drive down risk
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
- 10 years in a manufacturing or construction environment with 3 years of experience in EHS related duties.
- Completed some EHS training or credentials (i.e., OSHA 40 hour, etc.)
- Ability to correspond and interact with employees and regulatory agencies
- Experience and proven track record at reducing Ergonomic related injuries
- Familiarity with Machine Guarding and Machine Safety requirements, including Lock Out Tag Out.
- Familiarity with managing a Powered Industrial Truck program and Respiratory Protection Program.
- Experience with compliance management in a manufacturing facility
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, set up/maintain files, generate reports as requested, and execute projects on time.
- Ability to effectively present information in both oral and written form, including training in front of an audience.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Proven track record with employee engagement and leadership to improve safety culture
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3 years’ experience in ERP systems or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to make timely decisions while including appropriate people in decision-making process.
- Adapt to change in the work environment by dealing with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Proficient with Excel
- Ability to work overtime when necessary, including weekends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Salary Range: $21.43- $22.38
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
