A little about the position:
Job Summary: An Estimator is responsible for creating custom quotes to the customer including drawings using CAD.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Create accurate custom quote using data, drawings, photos or measurements provided by the customer in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
- Create customer approval drawings and/or proposal drawings using CAD.
- Maintain/record/ edit all related documents/information in quote program and cloud- based files.
- Follow standard work on every quote completed to remain consistent in the estimating process.
- Carry out assignments to completion within parameters given and prescribed routines.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
- Work effectively and independently in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Solid Computer Skills; Drafting techniques, Auto CAD. SolidWorks experience a plus.
- Accurate data entry 10 key typing skills.
- Proficient communication with customers, co-workers, sales staff and the management team.
- Strong visual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
