A little about the position:
This role is responsible for utilizing fiberglass and other materials to produce high quality products.
Job Summary
This position typically rolls the resin/material to be free from air using a small roller on pole approximately 4 to 6 feet long over the pool/spa molds during manufacturing. Also trims the pool of excess materials. This job requires quick movement to keep up with the material being sprayed/or layered on the pool.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety-first culture throughout the facility.
- Work with fiberglass, resin, and other chemicals/materials to manufacture fiberglass products (pools, spas, tanning ledges) while meeting high quality standards, meeting the production schedule.
- Utilize materials with hands, rollers, squeegees, etc., to create a wrinkle free, smooth finished product.
- Trim excess material as needed from the mold.
- Perform functions to detect and alleviate any imperfections from the product.
- Receive work direction/coaching from the Production Manager & Team Leads to ensure production goals are met.
- Keep work area clean & free of safety hazards.
- Cross train in multiple areas of the company.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
