Latham Pool Products is hiring in DeWitt, Iowa. Join the Latham family and help make backyard dreams a reality. Latham is the largest designer, manufacturer, and marketer of residential inground swimming pools with a coast-to-coast operations.
The Outfitter position works outside and is responsible for using various hand tools to do small repairs and to install plumbing, tile, inlays, lighting and other products on the pool. Starting pay is $24.56 per hour.
Primary Role:
- Read and understand production order and match to the product
- Inspects pools for flaws or order deviations.
- Able to trim and grind flange
- Accurately reads tape measure
- Cuts and drills holes for fittings and installs fittings per the outfitting guide
- Performs patching and repairs
- Able to tile and set inlays.
- Responsible for tools, maintenance and repair
Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to work outside in all sorts of weather and temperatures.
- Experience using various hand tools
- Ability to read diagrams and instructions
- Experience in tiling preferred
- Ability to stand for prolonged times as well as frequent bending, reaching, stooping, overhead work and lifting up to forty (40) pounds
- Must be able to work overtime, including some weekends
- Ability to work in a safe manner utilizing PPE as required
