A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Scheduler will lead the plant Production and Outfitting scheduling process to meet Dealer’s expectations. Role reports into the site Shipping Manager and closely coordinates with Order Management & Production to manage customer needs. This position will manage inventory and stocking levels and also prepare forecasts for material purchasing needs.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of fiberglass pools.
- Provide an effective schedule to meet all operational objectives.
- Continuously interact with operations employees among multiple areas including shipping, manufacturing, plant management with key interaction among materials team.
- Reduce slow and obsolete materials (slob) inventory.
- Work with operations to track FGP mold maintenance to help ensure a quality product for customers.
- Provide sales team information regarding discontinued FGP models for closeout sales flyers.
- Administer cycle count program for product line.
- Understand bill of materials structure, with the ability to utilize ECO process and system as required.
- Maintain an accurate perpetual inventory of materials.
- Perform all other continuous improvement projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimal Travel may be required.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
- AAS degree or equivalent work experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment for 5-10 years.
- Ability to make timely decisions while including appropriate people in decision-making process.
- Adapt to change in the work environment by dealing with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
- Intermediate math skills required.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel spreadsheets and databases.
- Lean Mfg., APICS, and other associated certifications are a plus.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
