A little about the position:
Job Summary
Step Coordinator’s job is responsible for reviewing vinyl liners to ensure they meet company requirements. This includes, but not limited to, conducting inspections, tests, and audits on Steps and Features. Inspectors play a crucial role in verifying that products, processes, and operations adhere to established standard work and company’s best practices.
We are currently seeking for 3 steps coordinators. One for each shift.
Some of What You Will Do:
Conducting Inspections:
This involves physically examining vinyl liners to identify potential issues, defects, or non-conformance and provide suggested solutions to improve the manufacturing and processes.
Inspections include measuring panels, treads and risers ensuring they meet design specifications. Using tools such as micrometer, measuring tapes, rulers, yard sticks, and flashlights to measure and inspect liners.
Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.
Performing Tests and Audits:
Step Coordinator may conduct various tests and audits to assess the quality, safety, and effectiveness of products and/or processes.
Identifying and Reporting Issues:
The Step Coordinator will accurately document completed inspections, any non-conformance and issues, and report their findings to the production lead and/or supervisor.
Recommending Corrective Actions:
Inspectors may recommend corrective actions or adjustments to processes or procedures to ensure compliance and improve quality.
Interpreting Regulations and Standards:
The Step Coordinator will need a thorough understanding of the company’s standard work, policies, and procedures to effectively perform their duties.
Step Construction:
Verifies that construction of the liners steps and features meet drawing specifications.
Additional Roles and Duties:
- The Step Coordinator will assist in routing liners to other areas for manufacturing, such as sealing panels on the Ultraseam/Miller and routing finished steps to the next production operation.
- Additional duties to assist production in providing quality product for use.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
- Attention to Detail: Step Coordinator must be highly detail-oriented to identify even the smallest nonconformance’s and deviations from work standards.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of Latham and GLI drawings.
- This position requires frequent pulling, lifting, bending, and standing.

Employment Type: On-site
Shift: All three shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
1st shift hours: 7am to 3pm
2nd shift hours: 3pm to 11pm
3rd shift hours: 11pm to 7am
Status: Full-time
Salary Range: $22.44 hourly
Bonus: Year End
