About the Role

The Senior Designer – Financial Visualization is an integral part of Latham’s Global Finance team. This role will be responsible for providing superior design and graphical production support and consultation to the Global Finance Department, while collaborating with the Global Finance team to create effective visual communication of financial and departmental information, including layouts, presentations, reports, training materials, and internal communications. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Storyboarding, developing, and editing visual content with a strong, intentional, and compelling narrative for various stakeholder groups, ensuring keen design thinking and attention to detail
• Developing complex and thoughtful visual content that conveys internal strategies, projects, and initiatives concisely and compellingly for key stakeholders
• Creating, revising, and reformatting PowerPoint presentations, maintaining firm-specific formatting, style, design standards, and consistency
• Supporting, advising, and training finance staff who use Microsoft PowerPoint and Word templates
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with executives, staff, and colleagues
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Demonstrate a keen understanding of design principles and a well-developed sense of voice
• Possess operational data visualization skills and literacy
• Display business acumen and understanding of financials

And have:

• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, preferably; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• A minimum of five (5) years of design, graphics, or visual presentation experience, specifically with financial data visualization
• Experience at a professional services firm, preferably
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
