The Associate Recruiting Coordinator – US Entry Level Hiring is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent / Associate Recruiting team and will be responsible for the recruitment and hiring of top talent for all associate-level positions at Latham & Watkins, while developing and maintaining relationships with internal local associate recruiting teams, target law schools, vendors, and other recruitment professionals. This role will be located in either our Washington, D.C. or New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

About The Role
The Associate Recruiting Coordinator – US Entry Level Hiring is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent / Associate Recruiting team and will be responsible for the recruitment and hiring of top talent for all associate-level positions at Latham & Watkins, while developing and maintaining relationships with internal local associate recruiting teams, target law schools, vendors, and other recruitment professionals. Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Supporting all phases of recruiting efforts, focusing on entry-level hiring of 1L, 2L, and new associate candidates, including coordinating firmwide entry-level hiring processes, handling correspondence between internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining candidate records
- Planning and executing logistics for an innovative US entry-level hiring strategy, encompassing launch, support, and post-season analysis
- Developing and monitoring budgets and expenses related to recruiting efforts, and collaborating with team members and committees to identify and implement new hiring strategies
- Providing administrative support to the Recruiting Committee; assisting in managing long-term hiring goals, preparing recruitment statistics and reports, and developing presentations for internal and external audiences
- Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
- Possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively at all organizational levels and work well in a team with a customer-service focus
- Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion, strong analytical skills requiring minimal supervision, and attention to detail for quality assurance
- Display organizational skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines, and proficiency in MS Office, applicant tracking systems, and interview platforms
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services
