About the Role:
Lather Site Prep is looking for an experienced and motivated Utility Foreman to lead our utility crew. In this role, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of underground utility infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate operations, resolve challenges, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the utility crew on-site.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of underground utility systems (water, sewer, and storm drainage).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Allocate resources efficiently, prioritize tasks, and monitor progress to maintain productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety and operational concerns.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Train and mentor crew members to promote professional growth and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience supervising utility crews, with expertise in water, sewer, and storm drain systems for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
- Strong knowledge of underground utility installation techniques and heavy equipment operation.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
