Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This critical role blends client service, policy management, and cross-selling opportunities to maintain and grow our book of business.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Policy Management
- Serve as the primary contact for an assigned book of personal lines clients.
- Provide expert guidance on policy changes, coverage options, and risk management solutions.
- Manage policy renewals, ensuring accurate coverage and a seamless process.
- Handle endorsement requests, billing inquiries, and policy servicing.
- Work closely with banks, mortgage brokers, and inspection companies to ensure a smooth client experience.
Retention & Growth
- Maintain strong client relationships with a focus on proactive service and retention.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance client coverage and provide the best possible protection.
- Work with Account Executives and producers on renewal strategies.
- Educate clients on policy discounts, coverage enhancements, and market trends.
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
- Utilize Applied EPIC to track policy activity, document client interactions, and manage renewals.
- Ensure all policies adhere to underwriting guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate e-signatures and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance (account management, servicing, or underwriting).
- Active P&C Insurance License (Required).
- Experience with Applied EPIC or other agency management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – comfortable working with clients and internal teams.
