Responsibilities
- Teach four classes within the Science department.
- 3 or more years teaching experience
- Collaborate with a team of teachers on curriculum and assessment.
- Reflect on teaching practice, often trying new approaches to create an equitable and engaging experience for all students in science.
- Value the opportunity to serve as a student advisor.
- Work with students outside of class for extra help or enrichment.
- Effectively communicate departmental philosophy and student performance with parents in writing grade reports and conducting parent-teacher conferences.
- Be an active member of the science department; participating in professional development opportunities and department meetings.
- Be an active member of the Upper School division; participating in division-wide committees, seeking and creating opportunities to collaborate with faculty beyond the department.
Salary : $64,622 - $114,976
